Classic FM live returns to the Royal Albert Hall on 23 September, and Julian Bliss will be taking to the stage with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra for a performance of two clarinet show-stoppers. The infamous Czardas by Vittorio Monti will be performed by Julian on multiple clarinets, swapping on to the A flat clarinet for the harmonics section. To finish, Julian will introduce Flight of the Bumblebee with the caveat that it is “guaranteed under 60 seconds or your money back.”

Alongside Julian, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a number of Classic FM favourites and they will be joined by guitarist Miloš Karadaglić including Concerto de Aranjuez. The evening will be hosted by Classic Fm’s John Suchet and Margherita Taylor, and will finish with a lights and fireworks finale to the sound of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.

Tickets are available to buy on classicfm.com and stay tuned to Classic FM for more news.
