The King’s Singers have been resident at the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival for a week, beginning with the performance of three concerts in churches and ending with a four day residency at the Musikhochschule of Lübeck, delivering ensemble workshops to vocal groups from around the world. The concert programme included works by Lassus and Mendelssohn before ending with a selection of Scottish folksongs and close harmony favourites.

This week marks the groups’ twelfth visit to Schleswig Holstein, as well as the final appearances for Paul Phoenix as a member of The King’s Singers. Paul join the group in September 1997 and his tenure as a member of The King’s Singers has been celebrated by his colleagues and audience members.
