The King’s Singers are excited, and honoured to announce that they will be taking part in the 2016 Pioneer Day Concerts with the inspirational Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra. Dedicated to the universal language of music, this incredible choir consists of hundreds of dedicated singers who volunteer their time to share the power of music and singing.

The concerts, entitled ‘Music for a Summer Evening’ will be held in conjunction with community-wide Pioneer Day celebrations on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 July 2016 at 8pm in the Conference Center. The performances will be conducted by Mack Wilberg, music director of the Choir, and Ryan Murphy, associate music director. The concert will be live streamed on MoTab.org at 8pm on Saturday 23 July and carried live over the Church satellite system and aired on BYU Television.

On Sunday 24 July the group has the great pleasure in joining the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra for it’s weekly radio programme Music and the Spoken Word. Their last appearance on Music and the Spoken Word was on 01 March 2015. Below see The King’s Singers perform the traditional spiritual, arr.
