International A cappella week, Hannover 2016

The King's Singers have had the great pleasure of performing in the 16th International A cappella week in Hannover. A wonderful occasion performing in the stunning acoustics of the Markuskirche Hannover, followed by an inspiring workshop with 4 talented ensembles: Mädchenchor Hannover, Knabenchor Hannover, Folkwang Vokalensemble and Hannover Harmonists. KS Summer Schools 2017

In the last few months The King's have been overwhelmed  by the number of applications to the Summer Schools in 2017, so much so that places are now limited to the UK School at Royal Holloway,  University of London in July 2017. Julian to join the Hallé Orchestra for 3 performances in 2016-2017 season

Julian is honoured to join the Hallé Orchestra and Sir Mark Elder for three performances of Weber's second concerto at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester in April 2017. Richard Fairman of the Financial Times has awarded Julian and the Carducci Quartet's recording of Brahms' Clarinet Concerto and Bruce's Gumboots a four star review.
