The King’s Singers have returned to the UK following a successful three week tour to Asia, with concert performances taking place in Taiwan, South Korea, China and Hong Kong. This was the first opportunity for the group to perform their Great American Songbook repertoire live to audiences in these countries, and it was well received. As well as eleven performances, The King’s Singers delivered three educational workshops, as well as performing to patients in a hospital in Taiwan.

RTHK Radio 3 will be broadcasting a recording of The King’s Singers performance with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong on Saturday 31 May at 8pm (Hong Kong time). The performance featured John Rutter’s musical masterpiece “Wind in the Willows” which sees each member of the group take on one of the characters, following the escapades of Rat, Mole, Badger and Toad. The recording will be streamed on the RTHK website here.
