Already nominated for a Gramophone Award earlier this year, Tenebrae’s recording of the Faure Requiem and Bach Partita No. 2 in D with the London Symphony Orchestra has been put forward in the Choral categoral of the International Classical Music Awards. Released on the LSO Live label, the disc was recorded in the sublime acoustic of the Church of St Giles Cripplegate in May 2012.

Alongside their nomination in the Choral category, Tenebrae have also received a nomination in the Early Music category for their recording of Gesualdo Tenebrae Responsories and Victoria Lamentations for Holy Saturday. Released on Deutsche Grammophon, the album was recorded in St. Augustine’s Church, London, in September 2012.
