Tenebrae featured on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune, speaking to presenter Sean Rafferty about their upcoming concerts alongside internationally acclaimed British mezzo soprano Sarah Connolly.
They will perform at the Ivor Gurney Memorial Festival in Gloucester Cathedral on 31st August. The event has been organized to raise funds for a newly-commissioned stained glass window celebrating the life and works of Gloucestershire’s famous poet composer, Ivor Gurney. The programme will feature a new commission from Judith Bingham, ‘A Walk with Ivor Gurney’.
This new commission will also feature in Tenebrae’s concert in the sumptuous surroundings of the Egyptian room in the City of London’s Mansion House.
