Recording with some of the world’s greatest artists has been part of the history of The King’s Singers, with performances and recordings taking place with James Galway, Nana Missouri, City of London Sinfonia, The Consort of Musicke, Dame Judi Dench, Susan Milan, Kiri te Kanawa, Sabine Meyer and George Shearing to name a few.

Their current recording project, for release on Deutsche Grammophon is with the international oboist Albrecht Mayer, principal of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. The group are working with Mr. Mayer on a winter-themed album, drawing on material already in their repertoire, as well as new arrangements. After two days of rehearsal in London earlier in the month, they have spent four days recording in the studio.
