The King’s Singers are visiting Italy for the first time this season, performing to audiences in Erba and Verona in Northern Italy. Despite the poor weather around Erba (sadly prohibiting some of the audience attending last night) the rain could not dampen spirits and the group have been warmly welcomed.

The coming week holds a few more firsts of the season.  The group will travel to Poland for the first of two tours this season, to perform Gorczycki’s Missa Rorate in the Gorczycki Festival in Sosnowiec. They return London to perform at the Ideal Home Show in Earls Court, performing a few Christmas numbers, before heading up to Manchester to work with ensembles and the Chamber Choir at Royal Northern College of Music. Prior heading home they will visit the Cowley Singers in St Helen’s for a morning’s workshop.
