The King’s Singers Spring tour to the US and Canada is now underway, and they will be visiting ten different states, to deliver twelve performances, six workshops and five different concert programmes.

The tour started with the group re-joining the Sean Curran Company for a collaborative performance of the programme “Travel Songs” at the University of Florida. It is a beautiful programme, and Sean interpreted “Scenes from America Deserta” by John McCabe, “Rakastava” by Jean Sibelius and “Leon” from Path of Miracles by Joby Talbot for joint performance with The King’s Singers. Through the conceptual exploration of landscape, horizon and time, the joint pieces serve as the centrepiece of the programme that also includes repertoire by both companies, aiming to attract and build audiences across genres.
